Mitcham - Rock and Pop Drum Ensemble & Free-Form Drum Circle (1)

We are working with our friends at NEMCA (North East Mitcham Community Association) to hold group drumming sessions at their site in Woodland Way in Mitcham. 1st and 3rd Monday of the Month, 7pm to 9pm.

All welcome, especially non-drummers / non-musicians. All equipment provided.

£5 per session cash on the night is fine.

Rock and Pop Drum Ensemble

Unleash your inner drummer with our Rock and Pop Drum Ensemble! Grab some sticks and join a dynamic group for high-energy sessions blending rock, pop, and hints of marching band beats. No prior experience or equipment needed—join the fun and let's make some noise!

8 to 9 

Free-Form Drum Circle

Join our relaxing Free-form Drum Circle for a mindful rhythmic experience, centred around hand drums and percussion. Foster spontaneity and creativity through rhythm, promoting a sense of calm and relaxation. Benefit from the therapeutic nature of group drumming, enhancing overall wellness while embracing the joy of communal music-making. Feel free to bring your own drums or percussion items but not required.

The timings above are rough as they include setting up and packing away. There will also be a 10 - 15 minute tea break between sessions. 

Feel free to come to both or either of the sessions, whichever you prefer. We will keep the price at £5 until the end of the year, regardless of whether you come to one or two sessions.
